    I recently found myself in an awkward situation reference my previous vehicle which was involved in an accident and was eventually written off thus leaving me with the need for a replacement car in a hurry.     When my wife and I we were considering what car to buy (to accommodate our dog and our first child which is due in April) we decided that excellent safety features and the presence of Isofix for the car seat were absolute necessities. Having considered the options, we went for a few test drives and it was clear that the Volvo XC60 not only met our needs and expectations, but totally surpassed them in every way. Ideally we wanted to buy one that was one or two years old but we had no luck whatsoever in Edinburgh. Again and again we were told it was "almost impossible" to get one.
